Koku Lwanga Hits Rock-Bottom and Exposes her Husband—Daddie Marto—for Cheating, Emotional, physical, and Emotional Abuse.

This morning, we woke to a very broken Koku Lwanga who finally hit rock bottom and decided she had had enough saving face. Koku took to her Instagram stories narrating a series of heartbreaking events that occurred recently as her marriage turned sour.

First, the gorgeous Koku revealed that what resulted in her finally snapping was that she had caught her husband yesternight with his mistress in what she referred to as his “office” but was essentially a 2-bedroom how he moved into “a few feet from their home” following their separation.

Koku even went ahead to say that she did not deserve that. Him being inconsiderate enough to bring the other woman near their home and in the house where their boys went to play video games with him siting that it was better had he booked a hotel instead.

Koku then went ahead to bitterly explain how the content creator attacked her with blows to her head neck and back while she lay helpless after she confronted him.

“I did not deserve you throwing blows and kicks to my head, neck and back while I lay in a fetal position simply because I came to confront you and your mistress. I did not deserve you standing there and saying you don’t owe me anything. You owe me dignity, respect and consideration during this delicate period we are in,”

Koku, who is popularly known for her food contention went ahead to describe painfully how her husband told her he did not owe her an explanation which triggered her emotional rollercoaster citing that he did in fact owe her a lot if not for anything else, but for being the mother of his kids.

Koku then touches on the financial abuse that she has been enduring citing that she was being forced to pay 20k in rent to continue staying in the house their kids lived in, pay 10k got their house help and still chip in providing for food while he knew that she was earning only 25k from her intention. She further explained how he continuously claimed not to have money for their household while he was out organizing charity events and even took a trip to Diani once.

What’s unfortunate about their bitter break up is that she used images from their hey-day in her stories to caption her stories and even images of her younger self from when she met him saying that she owed that girl an apology.

It was particularly sad that she claimed that she never knew one day, she would need to survive him,

“What I never anticipated was that I’d have to survive you.”

This line caught my attention so much because it pretty much sums up what every contemporary woman in an abusive relationship feels. That the person they trusted the most, with their love, soul, entire being, ended up being their biggest enemy, cause of harm, and the one they had to survive.

To Koku, we see you, we feel you, and while you might not know it, this is the beginning of a new you—a version of you that knows how to stand up for herself regardless of the societal expectations.
